We have designed ToolSphere from the ground up to guarantee that your documents, contracts, images, passwords, and numbers remain exclusively in your possession on your device.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
- No Document or File Uploads: When you use any tool (such as Merge PDF, Image Compressor, or JSON Formatter), the file bytes are loaded directly into your browser's RAM memory and manipulated locally using HTML5 APIs. They are never sent across the internet to any server.
- No Sensitive Inputs: We do not log, transmit, or record passwords generated, tax calculations, invoice entries, or text inputs.
- No User Accounts: You do not need to register or provide personal credentials, emails, or phone numbers to use any feature.
2. Browser Local Storage
ToolSphere offers features like "Favorites" and "Recently Used Tools" for your personal convenience. This data is saved strictly inside your browser's local storage (localStorage). It is never sent to our servers and can be wiped instantly at any time via the "Clear" buttons or your browser settings.
3. Device Permissions (Camera & Media)
Certain utilities, such as the QR Code Scanner, allow live webcam scanning. Camera access is strictly opt-in and requested only when you tap "Start Camera". Video frames are decoded in a local hidden canvas and are never recorded, streamed, or uploaded anywhere.
4. Hosting Infrastructure
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages as a pure static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript site. There are no backend database servers or serverless functions executing on user data.
